The main objective of the trust are to preserve and promote Tamil arts and culture; promote the study of Tamil; The Center provide courses such as Vocal, Veena,violin Mridangam and Kolam. On the 2-7-2012 at Indira Gandhi Cultural Institute Center the music day was celebrated by the Tamil Cultural Centre . Were present , Hon Jeetha , Hon Choonee. In his speech the president of Tamil Cultural Centre Veeren Coomaren informed the public and the ministers present that many centers will be created in all around the island.
