Aapravasi Ghat


In   Hindi  ( Immigration depot ) means  Aapravasi Ghat. The Aapravasi Ghat  is situated   in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius.About  half million Indians peoples passed through this immigration depot from 1849 to 1943.In 2006 the site has been recognized  World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.On  the picture  the  hand rail   and  the staircase of the Aapravasi Ghat .
